Learning Plan for the Week of 10/2/17:

Writing: Tatianna, Azlynn, Michael & Qasim

I can utilize the elements necessary to compose a quality writing piece.

Focus Task #1:

What is your goal for this academic year ?

I can engage in a collaborative exchange with a partner in France.

Focus Task #2:

Develop an introductory letter to your partner in France. Your focus should address the following: Who you are, the unique environment for which you live and your hope for this collaboration.

I can apply metacognitive strategies to develop a portfolio piece.

Focus Task #3

Develop at least one artifact for your portfolio.

Math:

I can utilize my knowledge of multiplication to complete a series of tasks.

Planet Weight.

Focus Task #4:

Complete your S.M.G. requirements; refer to your checklist.

Science:

I can demonstrate my understanding of how a hurricane forms.

Focus Task #1:

Make certain all hurricane interactive notebook pages started last year are complete.

Focus Task #2:

Review the basic elements of a hurricane. ( Read over document.)

Social Studies:

I can apply my knowledge of government to construct a state.

Focus Task #1:

What influenced the colonists to break away from England ? (Document & Activity)

Focus Task #2:

Find the area and perimeter of your territory.

Focus Task #3:

Create a survey of your territory marking all the necessary measurements.

Focus Task #4:

Complete your Thirteen Colonies Map.
