Oysters,
Utilizing metacognition, make a determination as to your understanding of the following terms:
engineer, hexagon, pentagon, rectangle, square, triangle, energy, inertia, kinetic, potential, diffraction grating, electromagnetic spectrum, florescent, incandescent, prism, refract, spectrum, visible.
Remember, knowing of the terms does not equate to understanding; assess your ability to define each of these terms.
Sincerely,
Mr. Miller

Oysters,
You will be required to develop one writing piece and complete your cause and effect document before addressing your filter and pH initiatives. These longstanding concepts need to be addressed before moving to the Electromagnetic Spectrum initiative. In addition, Cignition will be replaced with Academic Race elements.
Sincerely,
Mr. Miller

Oysters,
All Collaborative Writing needs to be addressed before developing your Academic Race elements. However, you are required to read pages 668-671 of you Science text to uncover a deeper understanding of electromagnetic energy. ( You can pull those pages out in order to develop interactive notebook pages.)
Sincerely,
Mr. Miller

Dear Oysters,
Your focus this fine day will be to complete Academic Race elements and Writing components. However, before you begin, I would ask that you view the video embedded under your Science Learning Plan. As you watch the video, simply think about the connections between the ideas found in the video and the idea of cycles.
Sincerely,
Mr. Miller
